Vexing Gull

My partner and I had this joke where we would hide copies of vexing gull around the house for the other to find - tucked into shirt pockets, in mugs in the cupboard etc. “Get vexed!” has become an on going joke between us. For my 40th birthday this year, he even got me an artist proof of the card from the artist, including an original sketch on the blank side. It’s become an ongoing, meaningful joke between us, and I think about this card every week!
